While shilling for Donald Trump, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani appeared to join the ranks of 9/11 truthers on Monday, when he claimed there had been no major terrorist attacks on U.S. soil prior to the Obama administration.

“Under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack inside the United States,” Giuliani said in a speech as he introduced Trump at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio.

Moments earlier in his speech, Giuliani had praised Trump’s running mate Mike Pence for his ”very, very timely” visit to Ground Zero and for his role on the Judiciary Committee following the attacks in helping to “fashion the Patriot Act.”

In his next blunder, Giuliani told the Ohio crowd, “You know better than I do what a great governor he is of your state.” Mike Pence is the governor of Indiana.
