One of the organizers of the violent “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA this weekend posted a youtube video of himself crying over the possibility that he might go to jail on Saturday.
White supremacist Christopher Cantwell posted the video saying he heard there was a warrant out for his arrest from the Charlottesville Police for his participation in the right-wing violence. He repeatedly says during the video that he is armed and concerned that the police or possibly a counter-protester is going to hurt him. Cantwell also complains that his group has tried to be law-abiding but is being victimized.
““I’m terrified you’re going to kill me, I really am,” Cantwell said in the video, amid sniffling. “Our enemies will just not stop.”
Cantwell, who has voiced his displeasure that Ivanka Trump is married to the Jewish Jared Kushner, has said that the death of counter-protester Heather Heyer was “justified” and said that at least his side didn’t suffer any loss of life. Heyer was killed when white nationalist James Alex Fields plowed his car into a crowd of counter-protesters.

Cantwell also notes that he’s “cool as a cucumber” when he’s armed, and tells law enforcement in the video that he has a weapon and does not want violence. “If I wanted violence it’s not a difficult thing for a guy like me to find.”
Chillingly, Cantwell told Vice during the rally that he isn’t “saying we’re nonviolent,” he said. “I’m saying that f—— we did not aggress. We did not initiate force against anybody. We’re not nonviolent — we’ll f—— kill these people if we have to.”
Yes. The same sniveling and teary-eyed white supremacist in the video who has, believe it or not, has had his Youtube account taken down for threats of violence and instances of harassment, said that statement.
But that’s just par for the course for Cantwell’s bullying and harassment of ordinary Americans.
Here’s a “highlight reel” of Cantwell acting like a tough guy:
