Both Obama and Trump have taken to twitter to address Hurricane Harvey, and it’s clear to see which one is more presidential.

While Texans are trying to recover from the storm, the nation is looking for a strong presidential response. Former President Obama responded in a way that was sympathetic, heartfelt, and showed a way for people to help their fellow man by linking to an American Red Cross donation tweet:

“Thank you to all the first responders and people helping each other out. That’s what we do as Americans. Here’s one way you can help now.”

Trump, on the other hand, took the opportunity to hock the controversial Sheriff David Clark’s book.

“A great book by a great guy, highly recommended!”

Good job, Trump. That book will certainly make a difference and help people in need.

He went even further, though. When he finally did tweet about the tragedy, he did it in an overly dramatic way that was certainly not calming and reassuring by saying this is the “worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen.”

“Many people are now saying that this is the worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen. Good news is that we have great talent on the ground.”

Then, in an egotistical way that only Trump could pull off, he started bragging about the election results… again.

“I will also be going to a wonderful state, Missouri, that I won by a lot in ’16. Dem C.M. is opposed to big tax cuts. Republican will win S!”

And then, since no day to Trump is complete without attacking other countries, he took a shot at Mexico and Canada.

“With Mexico being one of the highest crime Nations in the world, we must have THE WALL. Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other.

We are in the NAFTA (worst trade deal ever made) renegotiation process with Mexico & Canada. Both being very difficult, may have to terminate?”

It’s good to see where his priorities are, his ego and ruining the country…
